Multi purpose standard sized batteries such as AA, AAA, C, D, and 9V are
some of the most commonly used batteries. If you go through AA’s as fast
as most families do then rechargeables are a must to keep your battery
spending at a minimum. The new Ni-Mh batteries make a great substitute
to alkaline in any device that you are repeatedly replacing batteries.
Rechargeables are not recommended for devices that are not used often as
they do lose some charge while in storage. The new pre-charged Ni-Mh do
store better than others but are still not recommended for devices that
you don’t replace the batteries in at least 4 times per year.
